In recent years, numerous studies and articles have shed light on the alarming prevalence of corruption in the healthcare sector. These publications reveal shocking revelations, exposing a system where greed and malpractice often prevail over patient care. From bribery and embezzlement to fraud and nepotism, the findings leave us questioning the very foundation of the healthcare industry.

About our Organization

African Resource Centre for Anticorruption in Health (ARCAH) was founded in 2022 in response to health sector corruption issues in Africa. The centre is a product of extensive research on health sector corruption since 2017, led by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), Health Policy Research Group (HPRG), University of Nigeria, and School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS)

ARCAH is operational in several countries

We have been working hard  in some Major African in  strengthening anti-corruption laws, increasing transparency, enhancing monitoring and auditing and protecting whistle blowers

Nigeria

Our Team

We have Teams from various part of the world powering our idealogies and vision. Currently, ARCAH is affiliated with multiple institutions, including the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the Health Policy Research Group at the University of Nigeria, the University of Malawi, the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, and Bayero University in Kano.
